Intergroup is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to head our coatings operation across offshore and onshore sites in Taranaki. You’ll lead a skilled crew, ensure safe, high-quality blasting and painting, and optimize resources.

This role demands strong oil and gas experience, hands-on leadership, and the ability to build client relationships while growing our coatings footprint in the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations, ideally in an offshore oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial coatings, including abrasive blasting and painting.
• Experience with rope access operations and an understanding of offshore work requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate teams and hold people accountable.
• Strong planning, coordination and logistical management skills across multiple projects or work sites.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• A strong commitment to health, safety and operational excellence.

Responsabilités

• Lead offshore and onshore coatings activities, including blasting and painting.
• Manage offshore operations and onshore blast booth and regional projects.
• Coordinate logistics across personnel, equipment, materials and mobilisations.
• Drive safety and quality to meet health, safety and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and seek new opportunities.
• Monitor project performance, resources and costs to ensure profitability.
• Provide leadership to build a high-performing coatings team across sites.
