Job summary

Winton School in New Zealand is seeking an enthusiastic Certificated teacher to lead the hard materials technology program for Year 7–8 students. The role starts in Term 1, 2027 and sits within our well-resourced Technology block, recently upgraded to support hands-on design and problem-solving.

You will hold New Zealand Teacher Registration, have a passion for manual technology, and be able to engage students in working with wood, metal and electronics while maintaining strong safety practices

Qualifications

• New Zealand Teacher Registration is required.
• Passion for manual technology and workshop health and safety.
• Ability to engage students in working with wood, metal and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the technology program to Year 7 and 8 students.
• Teach in the technology block and support students in designing, creating and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with the school community and contribute to a vibrant school culture.
