Job summary

Auckland Council’s Martin’s Bay Holiday Park is seeking a fixed-term, full-time Holiday Park Assistant to join the team during the summer season and until February 2027. The role involves seven-day rosters from 8am to 8pm, including weekends and holidays, with a friendly, hands-on approach and active guest support.

You will handle reception, bookings, payments, data entry and guest assistance, while contributing to cleaning and park upkeep during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Customer service and reception experience required.
• Advanced computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and PMS booking systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is essential.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Front of house customer service, reception and administrative duties.
• Welcoming guests and helping them familiarise themselves with the park and local area.
• Answer enquiries and process bookings and payments received online, by email, phone and in person.
• Create and manage customer bookings in our booking system, including data entry, receipting and processing payments and sales.
• Open and close reception as required, including ensuring the reception area is ready for guests and secure at the end of the day.
• Support general cleaning duties, including assisting with housekeeping and maintaining guest amenities and facilities.
• Assist with light grounds and facilities maintenance and other day-to-day park operations as required.
• Be flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed to help keep the park running smoothly, particularly our busy summer period.
