Job summary

Beca in New Zealand looks for a Group Operational Resilience Lead to strengthen how we prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruption. Reporting to the CISO, you will map dependencies, assess risks, and build practical recovery and resilience plans across the Group.

This role requires translating complex resilience concepts into actionable business guidance and partnering with business and technology leaders to embed a new enterprise capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational resilience, business continuity, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, or a related field.
• Practical experience conducting BIAs, resilience assessments, recovery planning and scenario testing.
• Strong understanding of technology environments, dependencies, cyber and third‑party risks.
• Ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear business language.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and developing Beca’s Critical Business Services framework.
• Identify critical services, dependencies, risks and single points of failure with leaders.
• Develop and test practical recovery plans, runbooks and disruption scenarios.
• Drive resilience improvements and support major incident recovery across the Group.
