With our long-standing Corporate Operations Manager heading into a well-earned retirement, we're looking for a strategic and results-driven Group Operations Manager to lead and transform our operational procurement functions - Non-Trade Procurement, Fleet, and Property.

Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs, this is a pivotal role where you'll drive innovation, deliver measurable savings, and align operations with PGW's strategic goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading strategic procurement transformation across non-trade procurement, fleet, and property functions.
  • Driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvements.
  • Building team capability and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Embedding governance frameworks to manage risk, ensure compliance, and prevent value leakage.
  • Partnering with business units and the Executive Leadership Team to deliver enterprise-wide value.
  • Overseeing supplier relationship management, fleet optimisation, and property investment planning.
  • Championing sustainability and ESG integration across operational strategies.

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years' experience in procurement related and commercial or project management roles.
  • Proven leadership in procurement operations.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and supplier management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable commercial outcomes and operational efficiencies.
  • Experience embedding analytics, reporting, and digital tools to improve decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of strategic procurement, supplier performance, and governance.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and ESG principles and how to apply them in operational strategy.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a culture aligned with PGW's values.
