We're looking for an experienced, commercially astute and people-focused Group Financial Controller to join our Christchurch-based Group Finance team.

What You'll Do
- Lead the Group's financial reporting, tax, treasury and financial control functions, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant reporting across a complex listed organisation
- Partner closely with the CFO, Executive Team, Board and Audit Committee, providing trusted financial leadership, analysis and advice
- Oversee the preparation of annual and interim financial statements, NZX reporting obligations, external audits and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead Group budgeting, forecasting, capital management and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting processes, internal controls and governance frameworks
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Proven senior finance leadership experience within a listed, regulated, multi-entity or similarly complex corporate environment.
- Strong expertise in NZ IFRS, statutory financial reporting, governance and regulatory compliance.
- Experience overseeing external audits, Board and Audit Committee reporting, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Solid commercial finance experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, business performance analysis and capital investment decisions.
- Sound knowledge of taxation, treasury management, financial risk and internal control environments.
- A track record of improving financial systems, processes and reporting to drive better business outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and strong relationships across all levels of the business
