Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Renewables & Energy Storage Engineer in Wellington, New Zealand. This role involves delivering technical input on utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and renewable projects. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting projects from feasibility through to delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience within the power or renewable energy sector.
• Experience with BESS projects and grid connection infrastructure.
• Broad understanding of electrical infrastructure and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical input across utility-scale BESS and renewable energy projects.
• Support projects from feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, geotechnical and electrical specialists.
