Job summary

Allpress Espresso is seeking a Graphic Designer in Auckland to join our global brand team. You will shape and deliver creative work across digital, social, print, packaging, retail and campaigns, applying established brand guidelines with care.

Working closely with the Senior Designer and brand leads, you’ll translate concepts into engaging design, manage multiple projects, and contribute ideas in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of graphic design experience.
• Experience applying brand guidelines across multiple touchpoints.
• Proven ability to translate concepts into polished, production-ready design.

You will help shape and deliver creative work for Allpress Espresso and Underground across a wide range of touchpoints, including digital, social, print, packaging, retail, and brand campaigns. We're now looking for someone to join our Auckland-based team and help introduce more businesses to the Allpress experience.

About the role

Working closely with the Senior Designer, Global Head of Brand and the wider brand team, you'll help ensure the Allpress and Underground brands are expressed beautifully and consistently across every customer touchpoint.

You'll apply established brand guidelines with care, contribute ideas during creative discussions and translate concepts into considered, engaging design work. This is an opportunity to strengthen your technical and creative capabilities while gaining broad experience in a fast-paced, collaborative brand environment.

What you'll be doing

• Creating and adapting artwork for digital, social, print, retail, packaging and presentations
• Developing design solutions in response to clear creative briefs
• Applying the Allpress and Underground visual identities consistently across creative work
• Supporting the Senior Designer and broader brand team with campaigns and day-to-day design projects
• Contributing ideas, references and perspectives during ideation and creative discussions
• Preparing accurate artwork and production-ready files for digital, print and packaging
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines with guidance and support from the team
• Collaborating with regional brand leads, commercial teams, global marketing colleagues, suppliers and agencies
• Maintaining organised files and following agreed briefing, design and workflow processes
• Responding positively to feedback and using it to continually improve your work
• Communicating proactively about progress, deadlines and potential delivery challenges.

What you'll bring

• At least three years of graphic design experience, ideally gained in-house or within a brand, agency, FMCG, retail or similar environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• A strong understanding of digital and social formats
• The ability to understand and consistently apply brand guidelines
• Experience balancing multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities
• Strong conceptual thinking and confident communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, quality control and the craft of design
• Curiosity, initiative and a genuine desire to learn and grow
• The ability to explain your design choices and contribute constructively to creative discussions.
• Packaging design experience would be an advantage, and Microsoft PowerPoint skills are desirable.
