Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Graduate Civil Structural Engineer to join the Nelson Transport team. You will contribute to designs, calculations, and reporting while supporting construction monitoring on regional and national projects.

Qualifications

• New graduate or soon-to-graduate in 2027 with Civil/Structural engineering qualification.
• Interest in transport-related projects and client engagement.
• Eligibility for Engineering NZ accreditation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to designs, calculations, technical reporting and construction monitoring.
• Work on bridges, retaining walls, road and water structures.
• Model structures using Microstran, SAP2000 or ETABS and prepare drawings.
