Stantec in New Zealand is seeking a Graduate Civil Structural Engineer for the Transport team in Nelson. You will develop designs, calculations, and reporting while gaining exposure to project management and client liaison.

The role includes work on bridges, retaining walls, and road/water structures, with mentorship to achieve Engineering New Zealand accreditation. You will collaborate across disciplines, work in a supportive team, and benefit from flexible hours and a strong development

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or soon-to-graduate in 2027).
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to designs, calculations, and technical reporting.
• Assist in construction monitoring and client advice on regional and national projects.
• Perform structural modelling using Microstran, SAP2000 or ETABS.
• Draft drawings, sketches, and specifications; support other disciplines as needed.
