Job summary

Renewable Careers Limited is offering a two-year, full-time rotational graduate programme from our Christchurch office. You will complete three eight-month rotations across Development, Engineering & Construction, and Finance & Asset Management, with a permanent placement on the team after completion.

The programme includes a dedicated mentor, structured support, and relocation assistance. NZD 80,000–100,000 base salary with hybrid work from Christchurch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business or a related field.
• Interest in clean energy and the transition to a decarbonised economy.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, spreadsheets and learning new tools.
• Clear communication and the confidence to work across every part of a business.
• Adaptability: three rotations mean three new teams, new problems and steep learning curves.
• The right to work in New Zealand.
• No prior energy experience required; internships, summer work or campus involvement are valued.

Responsibilities

• Join each team as a full contributor with real deliverables from the first week.
• Support live projects through analysis, modelling, applications, technical reviews and site visits.
• Present your work to senior leadership at the end of each rotation.
• Learn directly from developers, engineers and financiers with a dedicated mentor.
• Build cross-functional fluency to accelerate careers in this industry.
