Job summary

Blenheim Mr. Builder and Renovator Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our Blenheim team on site. You will perform a range of carpentry and building tasks on our projects while gaining hands-on trade experience.

This full-time role offers 40–50 hours per week with a pay rate of 27.00 NZD per hour, emphasizing safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials and construction methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to undertake the requirements of the role.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Having own vehicle/own carpentry tools and NZ full driving Licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out framing, flooring, roofing, cladding, doors, windows and other carpentry work.
• Install and repair timber structures, fixtures and fittings.

Starting wages ranging from 60 – 70k per year depending on trip lengths.
