Job summary

Franklin Smith Group in Auckland seeks a Grad or Architect to join a leading Australasian architecture practice. The role offers exposure to large-scale commercial projects and a move across the Tasman to Sydney, working within a world-class studio on complex, high-profile schemes.

Candidates should bring 3–12 years in architecture, strong design sensibility, and the ability to deliver across project stages, with excellent coordination skills and a clear track record on delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–12 years’ professional architecture experience.
• Experience working on large-scale, complex commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of design, documentation and project delivery.
• Well-rounded experience with the ability to contribute across multiple project stages.
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with strong coordination and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale commercial projects.
• Work across various stages of projects from concept through to develop design.
• Develop design solutions in collaboration with senior architects and project teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and other disciplines.
• Assist in resolving complex design and technical issues.
• Take ownership of tasks and contribute meaningfully to the wider project team.
