NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is seeking a governance professional to lead and coordinate Board and Committee activity. You will maintain governance systems, calendars and papers, ensuring accurate, timely documentation and reporting across the organisation.

This is an opportunity to play a critical role in supporting effective governance at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA). Working closely with the General Counsel, Governance and Funding, you will provide trusted governance support and lead the end-to-end planning and coordination of Board and Committee activity.
You will maintain governance systems, frameworks and records, coordinate Board calendars and agendas, and help produce accurate, timely and high-quality Board papers and meeting packs. You will work closely with people across the organisation to ensure governance requirements, standards and deadlines are understood and met.
As a key point of connection between the Board, the Executive Leadership Team and the wider organisation, you will build trusted relationships, manage competing priorities and contribute to effective, compliant and continuously improving governance practices. You will also identify opportunities to simplify processes and deliver governance support in smarter and more efficient ways.
The General Counsel Office enables NZTA to operate with commercial strength, integrity and resilience by providing expert leadership across governance, legal, procurement, risk and assurance.
