Job summary

Jack's Point Golf Course in Queenstown is hiring a Greenkeeper to maintain fine turf, native areas and course presentation. You will support daily operations, assist with tournament prep and ensure high-quality playing surfaces across the site.

The role suits someone with a turf-management background, a professional team player mindset, and a commitment to safety and sustainability in a world-class golf environment.

Qualifications

• A turf management qualification or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience in turf management/greenkeeping/grounds maintenance.
• Growsafe and Approved Handler certification or willingness to obtain.
• Full driver's licence and safe operation of turf equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily course maintenance including mowing of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, approaches and surrounds.
• Set up and maintain playing conditions, including hole changing, bunker raking, tee rotation and hazard management.
• Maintain driving range, practice areas, and general groundskeeping duties.
• Support course preparation for tournaments and events.
• Undertake duties such as spray applications, hand watering, overseeding, turf repair and levelling.
• Identify turf health or pest issues and relay to management.
• Work with staff to achieve priorities and business goals.
