Tegel Foods Limited in Auckland is seeking a commercially minded Category & Brand Manager to drive brand growth across Australia and other international markets. You will combine category management, marketing, analytics and innovation to shape how Tegel shows up with customers, shoppers and consumers.

You bring at least 3 years' FMCG experience in a sales, category or marketing role, strong marketing and social media skills, excellent analysis and Excel, and a proactive growth mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' FMCG experience in a sales, category, or marketing role.
• Strong marketing and social media experience with knowledge of current platforms and best-practice approaches.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Canva (or similar).
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail and a proactive, growth mindset.
• Experience with Nielsen, Circana, Quantium, or Dunnhumby would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Bringing our brands to life through engaging marketing campaigns, social media, and innovation initiatives.
• Partner with agencies and content creators to deliver standout consumer experiences.
• Turn category, shopper, and consumer insights into actionable growth opportunities.
• Influence commercial decisions through data-driven recommendations across price, promotion, placement, and presence.
• Support category reviews, annual planning, and performance tracking to drive sales growth and market success.
