Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a current Practising Certificate.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage complex cases in older adults with mental health issues.
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care with families/whānau.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive assessments of older adults with mental health concerns.
• Provide evidence-based management plans in collaboration with the MDT.
• Contribute to on-call liaison roster and inter-service coordination.
• Engage with patients’ whānau/family to support recovery and independence.
