A local educational institution in Auckland is seeking a full-time, New Zealand registered teacher for the Social Sciences department. The candidate should have excellent classroom management, be innovative and passionate about teaching, and work well with diverse students. This permanent position starts in January 2026 and requires familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA standards.

We are seeking a New Zealand registered, experienced teacher with excellent classroom and leadership ability to join a supportive and collegial Social Sciences department. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and caring person committed to working with our diverse young people and embracing our school’s vision and school values of Respect, Innovation, Success and Excellence (RISE).
This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning term 1, Wednesday 21 January 2026.
Applicants must be NZ registered teachers residing in New Zealand or have the legal right to work/reside in NZ and be fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum.
