Under the supervision of the genetic counseling team, the genetic counseling assistant provides specialized support to the genetic counselors and program physicians.
Performs administrative and basic duties necessary to assist the team in providing counseling and risk assessment for genetic conditions to patients and families, including:
Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Genetics preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
Experience working with patients and/or in a medical office (1-2 years preferred).
