The West Coast of NZ’s South Island has a place for a GP or Nurse Practitioner keen to embed themselves in the closeknit community of Greymouth. Try it as a long term locum or be bold and make a permanent move. Get your professional stretch during the week and your physical stretch at weekends if climbing, hiking, biking and kayaking are your thing!

THE PRACTICE and THE TEAMA supportive, professional and caring team that practices at the top of their game, going the extra mile for each other and their patients. Many of the team are volunteers for various groups so their hearts are very much in the community. The break room in this modern purpose built building is often the place of shared kai and laughter. There are 8 consultation rooms, 1 consultation/occupational health room, 1 treatment / minor ops room and 1 physiotherapy room.

LOCATION
Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island, located at the mouth of the Grey River. Known for its rich gold mining history, coal mining, and jade (pounamu) carving, Greymouth serves as a key hub for the region. It offers access to scenic coastal and rainforest landscapes, with attractions like the nearby Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki and the West Coast Wilderness Trail. The town has a strong connection to Māori and Pākehā heritage and is a gateway to outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and caving.

• As a GP you will have current full registration or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
• As a Nurse Practitioner you will have current full registration or be eligible for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
• You’ll be a committed practitioner who thrives in a supportive team
• You’ll be keen to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the wider West Coast community
