Job summary

Frontline Recruitment in New Zealand is seeking a General Practitioner to join a well-established, Cornerstone-accredited primary care clinic. You will have a high degree of clinical autonomy within an integrated care model and work with an experienced multidisciplinary team across a seven-day service.

The role offers flexible rostering, paid admin time, mentorship, and potential to expand into urgent care. A pathway to Fellowship is supported within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible for registration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, culturally responsive primary care.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute presentations.
• Prescribe medications, order and interpret investigations, and coordinate referrals.

The Opportunity

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a General Practitioner to join a well-established organisation delivering high-quality primary care through an integrated model of care.

In this role, you will enjoy a high level of clinical autonomy within your scope of practice, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team, including GP Fellows.

The clinic operates seven days a week from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with flexible rostering to support work-life balance.

As a Cornerstone-accredited practice, the clinic is committed to excellence, offering outstanding training, mentorship, and a supportive environment for those looking to progress further, including pursuing fellowship.

Clinical Environment & Workload

• Average of 3-4 patients per hour, enabling quality, patient-centred consultations
• Dedicated, paid administrative time built into your schedule
• Booking patient model
• Further support to complete your Fellowship if desired.

Key Responsibilities

About You

Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible for registration with the Medical Council to enable practice in New Zealand
