Overview

Fujitsu General New Zealand is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our New Zealand operations. This is a pivotal role for someone who has experience in business to business to consumer sales through multiple channels and who understands how to connect strategy with execution, whether in the boardroom or on the job site.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of Business Managers around New Zealand to deliver market-leading results.
  • Drive sales growth, profitability and market share through strategic planning and execution.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, from retail groups and trade partners to internal teams and executive leadership.
  • Encourage a customer-first culture and an environment of operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Australian Shared Services (HR, finance, IT, supply chain) to align regional goals.
  • Represent the brand externally, enhancing Fujitsu General’s reputation in the community and industry.
What you bring
  • Proven leadership in sales and business management, ideally within HVAC, consumer electronics or related sectors.
  • A track record of team development, mentoring and coaching for performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing opex, capex and revenue targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: you’re as comfortable engaging with CEOs as you are with technicians and tradespeople.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
