Oceania is seeking a General Manager to lead a large village in New Zealand, overseeing a ~110-bed care centre and ~90 independent living residences. You will be responsible for people, care, operations and commercial performance, while maintaining safety, sustainability and high-quality service.
You’ll set the site direction, be a visible leader to residents, families and staff, and drive occupancy, budgets and compliance with a focus on continuous improvement.
This is a significant site leadership role with overall responsibility for the people, care, operations and commercial performance of Lady Allum. You’ll have oversight of approximately 110-bed care centre alongside an independent living village of approximately 90 residences, leading a diverse team and supporting a large community of residents and their families.
You’ll lead the site with a strong focus on creating an environment where residents receive high-quality, person-centred care and services, our people feel supported to do their best work, and the village operates safely, sustainably and successfully.
As General Manager, you’ll set the direction for the site and be a visible and approachable leader for residents, families and your team. You’ll balance the day-to-day operation of a large and complex village with longer-term planning, performance and continuous improvement, taking ownership of everything from team capability and resident experience through to occupancy, budgets and compliance.
You’re an experienced and confident leader who enjoys being visible, connected and involved in the day-to-day life of a site. You know how to bring people together around a clear direction, hold high standards and balance the needs of residents and your team with the commercial realities of running a successful business.
