Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a reliable Gardener to join our Christchurch team. This part-time role offers steady shifts across weekdays and a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities to work across multiple sites within Christchurch.

You will perform planting, mowing, pruning, and general garden maintenance, using standard equipment and upholding safety standards. A Full NZ Driver's License and valid working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Previous gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining gardens to a high standard.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexible to work varying days and hours, including adjusting schedules due to weather conditions.
• Experience using gardening equipment such as mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools.
• Must have a Full NZ Driver's License and ability to travel between multiple sites across Christchurch.

We're looking for reliable and motivated Gardener to join our team at Christchurch.

We have a part-time opportunity available, with shifts across weekdays.

Competitive hourly rates on offer: $35

Tuesday 06:00-10:00, Wednesday to Thursday 07:00-11:00

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens and landscaped areas across multiple sites in Christchurch (South City, Spreydon, and Hornby).
• Perform planting, pruning, weeding, trimming, and general garden maintenance.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.
• Travel between sites as required.
• Adapt work schedules when necessary due to weather conditions or rain delays.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-presented outdoor environment.

About You
