Overview

We are looking for exceptional individuals with experience and passion for all things gardening to join our Garden Centre team. Mitre 10 MEGA Dunedin is a locally owned, dynamic and growing company, with a vision to provide outstanding customer service and an easy DIY experience. Kiwis love to garden, and we love to assist them with their gardening needs. Mitre 10 is New Zealand's leading gardening retailer, and we are looking for retail assistants with horticultural ability and a customer focused attitude to join our busy highly regarded Garden Centre in Dunedin. We need someone with excellent physical fitness and strength as stock replenishment is part of this role. This is your chance to share your expertise and be part of a passionate and committed team. Retail is high energy and constantly changing. It's an exciting industry to be in and Mitre 10 offers great career opportunities supported by industry training qualifications. Previous experience in the garden industry is essential. You will need to have a general passion for all things gardening and retail as well as:

• Horticultural knowledge & gardening experience

• Physically fit – lifting and manual handling required

• A team player with a positive attitude

Positions

The positions are: (you must have gardening knowledge)

• Sunday to Thursday 39.5 hrs per/wk
• Tuesday to Saturday 38 hrs per/wk
• Friday, Saturday & Monday – 22 hrs
