Job summary

TribeRecruit New Zealand is seeking an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer to build and enhance a customer-facing booking platform. You will work on modernising a cloud-native PHP-centric environment and contribute to moving toward an automated DevOps lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience as a Software Developer in commercial environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP in production.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party vendor integrations.
• Solid capability across JavaScript, MySQL, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes; scripting in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance a customer-facing booking platform used by travellers worldwide.
• Modernise a cloud-native, PHP-centric environment and move toward a DevOps lifecycle.
• Develop automation and tooling to reduce repetitive manual work and enable AI-assisted workflows.
