Job summary

Better Media in Christchurch is seeking a talented full-time Video Editor to join our team. You will edit premium video content for real estate and construction clients and create engaging short-form social media videos as well as longer-form marketing content.

With a strong focus on storytelling, pacing and social media trends, you will colour grade, enhance footage, and manage editing workflows in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Growth opportunities exist as Better Media expands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional video editing experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro.
• Strong experience with Adobe Lightroom.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A creative eye for storytelling, pacing and social media trends.

Better Media is growing, and we're looking for a talented full-time Video Editor to join our team.

We create premium photo and video content for the real estate and construction industries, working with leading agents, developers and builders across Canterbury. Our work is modern, fast-paced and focused on producing high-quality content that helps our clients stand out.

About the role

• Full-time position (42.5 hours per week)
• Christchurch-based
• Edit premium video content for real estate and construction clients
• Create engaging short-form social media videos and longer-form marketing content
• Colour grade and enhance footage
• Organise project files and manage editing workflows

Skills & experience

• Minimum 2 years professional video editing experience
