Job summary

Accor Apartments & Realty is seeking a Room Attendant in Lake Tekapo to support the housekeeping team. You will clean guest rooms, restock trolleys, and ensure safety and privacy for guests while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

The role requires physical work, the ability to travel between rooms, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Permanent full-time position with 30–48 hours per week at NZD 25–26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience as cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Physically active and able to navigate stairs and corridors.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, change linens and clean bathrooms to a high standard.
• Follow guidelines to uphold impeccable housekeeping standards.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys.
• Use cleaning materials safely and maintain a secure environment.
• Respect guest privacy and ensure guest comfort.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
