Job title: Full Stack Developer (Vue3, TypeScript & Laravel 12)

Wage/Salary range: $90k - $120k - depending on experience.

Location: Wanaka - Otago

Short Summary: At Think Solar Group, our in-house development team builds software that keeps our business effective and running smoothly day to day — from tools that help office staff manage customers and projects, to apps that support installers on site.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who’s confident in Vue3, TypeScript, and Laravel, with a strong focus on testing, and who enjoys working on software that directly supports the team around them.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain applications with a Vue3 + TypeScript front end and Laravel 12 back end.
• Develop features that support office operations and on-site solar installations.
• Write and maintain tests to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Use Git for version control and team workflows.
• Work independently while staying aligned with the wider dev team.
• Sug gest and implement improvements to how software supports business needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Must-have:
• Strong experience with Vue3 (Composition API) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Laravel 12 / modern PHP development.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with testing.
• Good knowledge of Git workflows (branching, pull requests, reviews).
• Ability to self-manage and deliver features reliably.
• Nice-to-have:
• Interest in the solar industry or renewable technologies.
• Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
