Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Vacancy for a Registered Social Worker in the Crisis Resolution Service, covering Wellington, Porirua, and Kapiti regions. Permanent, full-time position with rostered and rotating shifts, including 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with at least 3 years' experience in mental health.
• Full valid Driver's Licence.
• Skilled in risk assessments and formulations.
• MDT involvement in care planning.
• Willing to complete Mental Health Act officer training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute assessment, risk formulation and treatment within the Crisis Resolution Service.
• Collaborate with Emergency departments, Police, social services, GPs and tertiary education providers.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced community setting.
• Rostered and rotating 24/7 shift pattern to meet service needs.
