We’re looking for a front-end dev who loves turning ideas into smooth, fast, and beautiful user experiences. You’ll be working side-by-side with our UX team and backend developers to ship features quickly and keep our product looking sharp. Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible apps with React, Tailwind CSS, and HeroUI
• Work with designers to bring UI/UX ideas to life
• Hook up the front end to backend APIs
• Keep things fast, clean, and user-friendly
• Experiment, test, and iterate quickly
• Interest in design and product discussions

Qualifications

• Solid React and modern JS/TypeScript skills
• Comfortable with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (HeroUI a bonus)
• Some experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
• Nice-to-have: experience with wavesurfer.js (or keen to learn it)
• Eye for detail and a good sense of what makes great UI/UX
• Happy working in a small team, giving feedback, and wearing multiple hats
• Ideally Auckland-based

• Testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Debugging and performance tuning skills
