Overview

Pullman Auckland is looking for a talented and passionate Front Office Team Leader wishing to take the next step up in one’s career and use their talent to create a vibrant culture within the Front Office team at the largest Accor property in New Zealand.

Responsibilities
  • Coach the Front Office team to ensure every member is confident in providing valuable insider information about tourist attractions and restaurants to hotel guests.
  • Assist in Front Office operations and daily hotel duties.
  • Establish ongoing on-the-job training within the department to meet brand and service essentials, using department procedure manuals as a base for all service procedures and training.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, seeking staff who are passionate and have a natural inclination towards customer-focused service.
Qualifications
  • Previous Front Office experience is essential, with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud is advantageous.
  • Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and diplomatic under pressure, providing flexible solutions.
  • Skilled in negotiating to resolve a range of guest and employee concerns.
  • Immaculate personal presentation and high level of communication, both verbal and written.
  • Hold a valid New Zealand Driver's Licence.
