Job summary

Bidfood Palmerston North is hiring a Produce Technician for our afternoon crew. The role involves accurately picking and packing customer orders, performing quality inspections, and upholding food safety and OH&S standards.

We offer a set afternoon roster with 40 hours per week, across six days, and staff grocery discounts. The team is supportive with room for growth and development; pre-employment drug screening and MOJ check apply.

We have a rare opportunity to join the Produce team at Bidfood Palmerston North.

We're seeking a reliable and trustworthy Produce Technician to join our afternoon crew.

This hands-on role is responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, carrying out quality inspections, and ensuring food safety and health and safety standards are consistently maintained.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride having high standards, can be relied upon to work independently, and understands the importance of delivering quality products to customers every time.

Previous experience working with fresh produce is an advantage, however training will be provided so all applicants will be considered - finding someone with the right attitude to join our existing team is what matters the most!
