Job summary

Carters Cambridge is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join the team on a PM to AM shift, producing high-quality prenail frames and trusses for building trade customers.

You will fabricate frames, operate nail guns and cutting machinery, read technical drawings, and ensure precise measurements while following safety protocols. Physical manual labour and teamwork are essential for this busy production line.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting building drawings and specifications.
• Experience in frame and truss manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proficiency with power tools, nails guns, and manual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate frames and trusses to drawings using nail guns.
• Operate computer-guided machinery and cutting equipment.
• Assemble timber components to specification and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient production line.
