Job summary

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter to join our Taranaki Service Centre. This role is 10 hours per week, primarily work from home with regular visits to the New Plymouth office to meet the manager and team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and networking skills, marketing knowledge or relevant qualification, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to the organization’s Christian Kaupapa and

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter to join our Taranaki Service Centre, this position is 10 hours per week. The role is primarily work from home, with a requirement to come into the office in New Plymouth regularly to meet with the manager and team.

The successful person will have the following:

• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Marketing knowledge and skills and/or a relevant qualification
• The ability to work alone and also as part of a team.
• The ability to develop and outwork project plans.
• To work weekends & evenings as required
• An in-depth understanding of how the role recognizes the special relationship between Maori and Tauiwi and has a strong empathy with the organization’s special character.
• A full New Zealand driver’s license is essential.
• An alignment with the Open Home Foundation’s Christian Kaupapa.
