Job summary

Kraft Heinz Watties in Hawke's Bay is seeking a Forklift Operator to operate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading pallets at King Street, Hastings and Tomoana Site. The role runs Monday to Friday with AM/PM shifts and includes on-site cafeteria access.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork within a petfood environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience in food/manufacturing.
• RF scanning experience required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and also unsupervised at times.
• Experience in petfood environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift.
• Load and unload pallets with products/finished goods.
• RF scanning to track items.
• Complete daily paperwork to keep operations running smoothly.
• Monitor and record production data to help get products out to NZ.

Our client is looking for Forklift Operators in the Hawke's Bay area at King Street, Hastings and Tomoana Site.

Monday- Friday

Shifts Available:

AM: 06:00 - 14:00

PM: 14:00 - 22:00

About Role:

• Operating forklift
• Loading and unloading pallets with products / finished good
• RF Scanning
• Some manual work involved
• Able to work in Petfood Environment with Fresh / Frozen Offal
• Daily completion of paperwork - making sure operations is running well!
• The working environment is friendly and will keep you both busy and challenged.
• Monitor and record production data to help get this product out to NZ!

Your Key Skills:

• Forklift Operating experience in similar roles - food, manufacturing or other
• RF Scanning required in one of the roles
• Good communication skills to help support your team
• Ability to work as a team and also able to work unsupervised at times
• A great team player with a good attitude!
