Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Transport Planner (Early Career) to support forestry customers by coordinating harvesting contractors and logging trucks. You will monitor movements, provide route plans, and help ensure timely deliveries.

Location in Gisborne, New Zealand, with in-office shifts between early morning hours. A tertiary qualification in Forestry, Logistics, or Business is helpful but not essential, and learning new software will be part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate harvesting contractors and logging trucks to optimise daily load uplifts and fleet use.
• Execute and monitor wood flow plans using logistics software to deliver outcomes for clients.
• Resolve bottlenecks on the ground by negotiating with suppliers and customers in real time.
• Track and report production, inventory, and delivery targets to maintain supply chain transparency.
