Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience operating heavy-duty log trucks.
• Ability to handle and strap loads safely.
• Capable of navigating forestry roads and ports.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty log trucks to transport timber from logging sites to ports.
• Navigate unsealed forestry roads and public highways under varying conditions.
• Assist with loading and securing log shipments for stability.
• Coordinate with dispatch and port authorities for timely deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
