Job summary

Westlake Boys' High School is seeking an experienced Food Technology teacher to join our Technology Faculty in a permanent teaching position from Term 1, 2027, with the additional opportunity to take on the role of Head of Department – Food for a 12 month fixed term.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about Food Technology and can deliver engaging learning experiences across a range of year levels.

Qualifications

• NZ registered teacher with current practicing certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Years 7–15.
• Lead and support curriculum delivery in the Food Technology department.
• Fulfill Head of Department duties for a fixed term (12 months).
• Contribute to ongoing development of the department.
