Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Food Safety and Quality leadership role! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. The Food Safety & Quality leadership role will be responsible for monitoring plant FSQA processes. You will manage process control and quality checks, evaluate quality reports, and implement corrective measures as needed. You will also lead Quality teams, providing training, leadership, and coaching to ensure operational excellence. Additionally, you will manage project budgets, coordinate audits, and enact continuous improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life...

* Monitors process control, raw and packaging materials, quality checks, and GMP compliance.
* Analyzes and evaluates various quality reports and trends, developing corrective actions and pro-active plans as needed.
* Provides training and coaching to assigned Quality Technicians and employees as required.
* Provides leadership in an environment of continuous improvement to maximize operating efficiencies with adherence to all quality standards.
* Interacts with outside governmental agencies, USDA, FDA, and State Department of Agriculture, as directed or required. Coordinates internal audit requirements as directed or required.
* Responsible for creating/managing assigned budgets.
* Perform other miscellaneous projects/duties as assigned.

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field required
* 5+ years food/beverage quality systems experience
* Requires the ability to support a 24/7 operation
* Ability to influence others in daily interactions
* Successfully demonstrated interpersonal skills in dealing with employees at all levels
* Appropriate business management acumen
* Effective problem-solving skills
* Excellent communications skills are also required

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
