Job summary

The Kitchenary, part of the Woolworths Group, is seeking experienced Food Production workers for its modern food manufacturing facility in Auckland. You will handle incoming ingredients, portion meals, and maintain safety and quality in a high-volume operation.

We offer day and night shifts with 12-hour rotations up to five days a week, permanent employment, training and upskilling, team benefits, and discounted groceries.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, SOPs and work instructions.
• Understanding of food safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and preparing ingredients based on recipes and production standards.
• Accurately portioning and assembling meal components into trays.
• Ensuring no contamination across sealing areas of packaging.
• Performing visual quality checks to identify defects or foreign objects.
• Following recipes, specifications, and work instructions precisely.
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Working closely with team leaders, QA, and fellow production staff.
