Scientific & Technical Recruitment is seeking a Development Technologist in Auckland, NZ. You will evaluate raw materials, optimise formulations, and conduct laboratory and production trials to improve product quality, consistency and performance.

You will contribute to new product development and manufacturing improvements while collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and suppliers. A degree in Food Science/Technology and 2–5 years' experience are preferred.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of functional ingredients and their impact on product characteristics.
• Experience applying formulation changes and conducting trials.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate existing and alternative raw materials for functionality, quality and performance.
• Review and optimise formulations to improve consistency and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan and conduct lab and production trials to validate improvements.
• Investigate formulation issues, identify root causes and solutions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and suppliers to support new product development.
