About Hilton Auckland

Our nautically-inspired 5-star hotel sits on the end of Princes Wharf, home to a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants, and bars. We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to become part of our professional and hard-working Hilton Auckland team. This role involves crafting unforgettable guest experiences, from enjoying fresh barista coffee and taking in waterfront views by day, to sipping cocktails or champagne seaside by night!

What will I be doing?

• Supervise Food and Beverage Outlet operations
• Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
• Ensure compliance with brand standards
• Manage guest queries promptly and efficiently
• Represent the needs of the team
• Assist management in achieving financial targets
• Support training and development of team members
• Participate in annual and mid-year appraisals
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
• Assist other departments as necessary and maintain good working relationships

Qualifications - Internal

What are we looking for?

• Friendly, positive, energetic commitment to exceptional guest service
• Previous 5-star hotel experience within Food & Beverage
• Experience in various F&B outlets such as banqueting, restaurant, and bar
• Full-time and flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
• Experience with POS ordering systems and cashing up
• Stock taking experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Good communication skills in English

Beneficial qualifications include:

• Completed a bartending course (e.g., EBS)
• Possession of WSET certification
• Possession of LCQ or managers certificate
