What’s the role all about?

InterGroup is one of New Zealand’s leading Infrastructure and Industrial Services providers. We do everything from waste management to coatings and specialist industrial cleaning – and we do it all with a safety-first attitude. Now, we’re looking to grow our Devonport team with a new Driver Operator who’s keen to learn and get stuck in.

You’ll be operating our trucks but that’s just the start. We’ll train you in Ultra High Pressure Water Jetting (UHPWJ), abrasive blasting, and other specialist industrial maintenance techniques. It’s the perfect opportunity for someone looking to step up from driving into a more skilled and varied role.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving and operating Class 4 trucks e.g., vacuum trucks
• Assisting with UHPWJ, abrasive blasting, and other industrial cleaning operations (full training provided)
• Working on sites such as shipyards, tanks, and confined spaces – always with safety top of mind
• Supporting the team in delivering high-quality work on time and to spec
