Overview

Floor Layer – We’re looking for two experienced carpet and vinyl installers for residential and commercial work across South Canterbury. Based between Ashburton and Timaru, this role involves travel across the region, with paid accommodation, meal allowances, and consistent weekly pay.

Location: South Canterbury (Ashburton to Timaru, with regional travel)

Start date: Immediate start available

Pay rate: $30–40 per hour + allowances (paid weekly)

Your role will include

• Measuring and preparing work areas
• Removing old flooring and surface materials
• Cutting and fitting carpet and vinyl to size
• Applying adhesives and underlay where required
• Securing flooring for a professional, finished result

To be successful, you’ll need

• 3+ years’ experience in floor installation
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence
