Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4+ years in UAS operations, flight test, trials, or related aerospace field.
• Experience with VLOS, EVLOS and BVLOS operations with flight operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop regulatory documentation, including SORA.
• Secure regulatory approvals with regulators in suitable timeframes.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee UAS flight trials.
• Configure UAS hardware, software, and payloads for trials.
• Manage trial activity, planning, logistics and flight safety.
• Analyze post-flight data and document anomalies and corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols.
• Ensure flights comply with UAS regulations and maintain certifications.
• Coordinate airspace permissions and liaise with regulators to secure authorisations.
• Compile formal test reports and update lessons learned.
