Job summary

ExecuJet Auckland is seeking a senior Flight Facilitation lead to supervise the Ground Operations team and coordinate worldwide client support. You will mentor staff, manage diverse tasks across ground handling, fuel liaison, and crew arrangements, and ensure top-tier service standards.

The role requires autonomy, strategic account management, and strong communication to build client relationships, with regional travel as needed. NZ residency or citizenship is required.

Qualifications

  • Military and aviation logistics knowledge preferred.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience necessary.
  • Ground handling knowledge for domestic and international flights.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with proactive decision-making.
  • Experience in account management to ensure service-deliverables.
  • Strong geographical awareness desirable.
  • NZ citizenship or permanent residency required.
  • Must hold an unrestricted NZ Driver’s License.
  • Police check, airport security check and pre-employment medical required.
  • Flexible for after-hours and weekend support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop the ExecuJet Flight Facilitation team
  • Coordinate all ground operations for clients worldwide, including ground handling, fuel liaison, crew accommodation, ground transfers, catering, flight setup, crew briefings, and flight monitoring and support
  • Communicate with clients and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain operational and service standards on all client flights
  • Attend meetings with end customers and key contractors to develop and maintain relationships
  • Liaise with the ExecuJet Operations team on operational issues
  • Monitor daily client operations and report relevant matters to the Flight Facilitation Manager
  • Compile and maintain weekly and monthly client operations reports
  • Oversee key account management tasks for external suppliers and ensure service deliverables are met or exceeded
  • Act as 2IC for the Flight Facilitation Manager
  • Travel regionally as required
  • Complete other tasks as directed by the Flight Facilitation Manager and senior management

Requirements


  • Knowledge of military and aviation logistics will be highly regarded

  • Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to guide, motivate and develop team members while fostering accountability, collaboration and high performance

  • Domestic and international Aircraft Ground Handling Knowledge, including understanding of various aircraft types, fueling, towing, loading/unloading, and pushback procedures

  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, balancing accountability with proactive decision-making, critical thinking and continuous improvement

  • Experience in Account Management to ensure service providers meet or exceed deliverables

  • Excellent geographical awareness will be desirable

  • New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency is essential

  • Must hold an unrestricted New Zealand Driver’s License

  • Required to undergo a Police check, Airport security check and pre-employment medical

  • Flexibility to be available for after hours and provide weekend support when required
