Qualifications

• Love working with people and helping them thrive.
• Be willing to learn, reflect, and adapt your approach to what matters for each person.
• Have experience in or exposure to caregiving, disability support, aged care, community work, or other people‑facing roles.
• Committed to culturally safe, respectful support for people from all backgrounds.
• Intuitive and responsive to people’s needs.
• Own a smartphone.
• Have the right to work in New Zealand.
• Full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful, and person‑centred support in people’s homes, including daily living tasks and care.
• Assist with high risk individual care requirements and tasks such as palliative care, bowel care, dementia support, and medication support.
• Support clients in ways that respect their culture, values, beliefs, routines and boundaries.
