Busy Bees Aotearoa is seeking a part-time Registered ECE Teacher to provide relief teaching across four Busy Bees centres in Nelson/Tasman. You will draw on Te Whāriki to guide each child’s learning journey and share progress with families through high-quality assessments.

Qualifications

• NZ-recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Ability to communicate warmly and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
• Proactive, fair, and ethical approach to teaching and classroom management.
• Passion for the NZ national curriculum and sharing creative teaching ideas.
• Comfort with digital tools to document learning and stay connected with families.

Responsibilities

• Draw on Te Whāriki to plan and guide each child’s educational journey.
• Capture and share high-quality assessments to celebrate every child’s progress.
• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere prioritising belonging.
• Collaborate with team to build positive relationships across Busy Bees centres.
