Job summary

Busy Bees Aotearoa is seeking a part-time Registered ECE Teacher to provide relief teaching across four Busy Bees centres in Nelson/Tasman. You will draw on Te Whāriki to guide each child’s learning journey and share progress with families through high-quality assessments.

Qualifications

• NZ-recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Ability to communicate warmly and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
• Proactive, fair, and ethical approach to teaching and classroom management.
• Passion for the NZ national curriculum and sharing creative teaching ideas.
• Comfort with digital tools to document learning and stay connected with families.

Responsibilities

Join our Nelson/Tasman team as a Registered Teacher and enjoy the unique opportunity to provide Relief Teaching across four beautiful Busy Bees centres, supported by passionate teams and surrounded by the incredible natural beauty of the region.

This is a part-time role for a Registered ECE Teacher with the freedom of choosing their hours.
